How far is the north from Langkawi airport?
The airport is on the west side of the island, and Tanjung Rhu and Teluk Datai are on the north coast. In normal traffic the drive takes about 35 to 40 minutes to Tanjung Rhu and about 40 to 45 minutes to The Datai. From the Kuah jetty it is longer: about 40 minutes to Tanjung Rhu and about 50 minutes to Teluk Datai. Most guests are glad to sit back and let a driver handle the ride.

What to expect when you land

Good to know about the north coast
