If you are mostly going to the beach, the night market and a couple of attractions, the Avanza or Alza is all you need. Both are easy to drive and park. Pack light, because with seven people on board the boot is small.
Best all-round: Toyota Veloz or Innova Zenix
These two give the best balance of price, space and comfort. The Innova Zenix has the biggest luggage space of the regular MPVs, so it suits families flying in with several suitcases.
Best for comfort: Toyota Alphard or Vellfire

Do not forget luggage and children
Before you book, count the people and the bags. As a simple rule, a regular 7-seater with all seats used fits two to three cabin-size bags.
