What is the Security Deposit?

A security deposit is collected in cash or by card when you pick up your rental car. It acts as a refundable safeguard against any damage, loss, or other charges you may be responsible for during the rental period.

If the car is returned in the same condition as when you collected it, your full security deposit is refunded on the spot — in cash, via online banking transfer, or QR payment, whichever you prefer. If there is any damage, we'll explain the deduction to you with supporting evidence (e.g. photographs) before refunding the remaining balance.

The amount depends on the car type you book, as shown below. Full details are set out in our Terms and Conditions (Section 8).
